The government of Sindh has stopped the registration of various housing societies located in scheme 33 Karachi. According to a letter, the following cooperative housing schemes registrations were illegal and such investigations were also under a process conducted by the NAB authorities. The names of Scheme 33 illegal housing societies are the following.

9. Azimabad CHS Ltd. Karachi
10. HDA Employees CHS Ltd. Karachi
11. Allama Usmania CHS Ltd. Karachi
12. Sindhi Momin CHS Ltd. Karachi
13. Architect and Engineering Employees CHS Ltd. Karachi
14. Kaghan CHS Ltd. Karachi
15. Civil Aviation Employees CHS Ltd. Karachi
16. National Cement CHS Ltd. Karachi
17. Kokan Muslim CHS Ltd. Karachi

The department also requested to furnish all the details of registrations and sub-lease issued by the registrar and sub-registrar in respect of above mentioned cooperative societies. The letter also requested to intimate the department before issuing the sub-lease in the future, for taking necessary further action.
